A Meadow Kissed by Morning Frost — Foto Friday

Frost kissed Tuolumne Meadow
Frost kissed Tuolumne Meadow

I took this picture on our way to climb Cathedral Peak in Yosemite National Park.

We started early enough that there was still frost on the ground. In an hour or so, it would have melted and the crowd would start coming..

But right then, it was perfection.

It was just us, the meadow, the frost, and a beautiful piece of rock to climb.

It was heaven.

  1. How beautiful! Reminds me of Ansel Adams' photos. Black and white makes everything so much more dramatic–especially nature. I have never been to Yosemite, but have been dying to ever since I was a little kid!
